Born from gochujang / built for your table

Not just hot.
Deeply good.

Hot sauce brings heat. JANG! brings the whole room. Here is where that depth comes from.

Earthenware onggi jars fermenting in a courtyard

Fermentation does the heavy lifting.

Every bottle starts with gochujang: chili, rice and soybean left to ferment slowly in earthenware jars until the flavor turns deep, savory and a little sweet. That is the part you cannot fake with extra heat.

We work with a family producer in Korea for the base, then finish each flavor in small batches. Fruit, garlic and sesame go in fresh, and nothing gets cooked down until it tastes flat.

Why a sauce, not a paste.

Gochujang paste is wonderful, but it lives in a tub and needs a recipe. We wanted the same depth in something you can pour on a Tuesday: over eggs, into mayo, across a rack of ribs.

So we loosened it, balanced it with fruit and garlic, and made three versions for three kinds of dinner. Korean flavor made easy, without flattening what makes it special.

The JANG! standard

Los Angeles / Seoul

The base is fermented in Korea. The flavors were built at LA dinner tables, where gochujang ends up on tacos, fries and everything in between.
